I have just installed the update of k2 and at the last textarea field of a group of extra fields I get [{"name":null,"value":"","editor":"1","target":null}]
instead the value of the textarea.
This happens in the frontend, not in the backend.

Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong?

thanks a lot

Here again.
I observe that this happens when an extra field is blank, then the next extra field has the problem.

Hi,
I had the same problems, and I found a fix that worked had been submitted via the K2 bug tracker...
Details of the fix are here :
getk2.org/community/New-to-K2-Ask-here-first!/9325-extra-field-issue-in-K2-255
I hope this helps
Regards
Mat

If you check the link in Mat's post (after removing the incorrect "!" sign from his URL), you'll see it leads to the code repository for the source file "index.php".

If you replace that file with a corrected version, it should fix your problem. How to get the code from the repository is something only an experienced programmer (with access to the website backend) should attempt.
